Smart business owners recognize the value of professional product photography. Enter Jeanette and Megan; sisters and business partners who handcraft modest dresses in the local area, and sell online across Canada.
For our first several product photography sessions, Megan came to my studio (Jeanette lives in Manitoba) with a basket full of dresses to model. We posed and perfected the shots, which I then edited into PNG images for their e-commerce site www.wearadress.com
A few sessions down the line, Megan and Jeanette commissioned me for another style of product photography. We signed up three models, who tirelessly sported dress after dress for the summer season product reveal!
A HUGE thank-you to (left to right) Kassie, Laine and Brianna for modelling, and caring about the project! (Laine drove all the way from Humboldt for this!) Also, thank you to Kassie’s mom Annette, Laine’s friend Logan, and Megan’s daughter Julianna who helped care for the babies during locations, toted supplies around, and kept the energy high for the duration of the shoot.
This style (above) that Kassie is modelling is called “Daisy”, and it’s super flattering on all body types. Check out the website for the sizing guide. (Warning: Once you try these dresses on, you’ll be hooked. I’ve already purchased two for myself!) They’re pretty and sooooo comfy!
Most of the images were shot on-location at Nipawin Regional Park, and Twin Marine. The rest near my studio, as well as at Pineland Co-op. The Wear A Dress headquarters is located near Carrot River, SK, if you’re curious. Check out their website, and shop local!
Thank you to Jeanette and Megan for the opportunity to help a local business (created and run by women!) expand across Canada. I absolutely LOVE working with you.
