This is Laura and Roy, a couple from Nipawin. They needed some photos for a family function across the country that they’re not able to attend.
Not huge fans of photo sessions, they wanted an in-and-out photoshoot. We met up at Roy’s favourite place; the Evergreen Golf Course, and had some fun on the putting green.
All in all, our session was short and sweet; 9 minutes from hello to goodbye. That’s got to be some kind of record!
Have you got some kind words for Roy and Laura? Please comment below.
It was a foggy Saturday morning last fall. My fur baby and I were lounging about the house, when I decided to make a coffee run. It was then that I noticed just how incredibly thick the wall of fog was. You could hardly see to the end of a short town block!
The drive home from A&W, hot coffee in hand, was a blur. All I could think about was getting back home so that I could film a model request video and post online, before the fog had a chance to lift. If I had any other thoughts during the truck ride home, I don’t remember them.
Within one (yes, ONE) minute, Katelyn...
This Elisa, a French traveler, visiting Canada. We met at Beaverfoot Lodge in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, during Mackenzie & Elissa’s wedding weekend. She was one of the temporary staff onsite. I was immediately stunned by her beauty and, thankfully, she allowed me to photographer her on a day off.
She’s making good use of her 2 year Canadian visa. Having been in the country for 2 months so far, she’s already visited Montreal PQ, Dauphin MB, and now Beaverfoot Lodge near Golden BC.
Her next stop is Kelowna, to pick apples. She’s found jobs along the way through...
Let me take you on a journey to the wedding of Elissa and Mackenzie, set in the picturesque Rocky Mountains of beautiful British Columbia.
Elissa met Mackenzie on his very first night in Saskatoon, back in 2010, through mutual friends. He was interested right away, and found a way to trick her into spending time with him on Valentine’s Day (sneaky, sneaky). They talked for hours, discovering they had much in common, and quickly decided to pair up and take on the world together.
Fast forward five years to the proposal: Elissa’s version of the story tells of a surprise hot air balloon...
Diamond North Credit Union, Nipawin Branch asked me for group images to feature in their upcoming University-tour career fairs.
We didn't take ourselves too seriously during the session. We had a few laughs, and even kicked back a bit. (Jason, we see you...)
Thank you Rebecca and DNCU, for booking with me, and displaying the images at University career fairs around Saskatchewan.

Cassidy graduated this year from Choiceland, SK. Her family and I met up at Nipawin Regional Park for our session together in the trees.
Immediately after this family portrait of the Whitrow family, all four of them made goofy faces and expressions toward the camera, and burst out laughing! They knew how to be serious, and also how to let loose and be silly.
Cassidy's good friend Sheldon came along as her escort. He's a soft-spoken guy, and really let her shine that day. Every girl in heels needs a tall handsome escort who lets...
Mataya's graduation in Zenon Park, SK was cause for celebration! [Especially since I got to work with her again!] Check out her pre-graduation session after you're done here.
For now, let's gush over her graduation day photos!
Mataya's family gathered to celebrate with her. Her sister, Brittany, even came home all the way from BC! There's no way she'd miss her baby sister's special day!
Let's not forget about Mataya's escort and boyfriend. He was looking dapper, himself. Happy graduation to you, Levi!
Oh! And Mataya's best friend, Chloe, made an appearance!...
The Kapeller family invited me out to their farm near Arborfield, SK to celebrate Jordan's graduation from high school. His good friend Mataya connected us by referral after her pre-graduation session last fall. (So here's a little shout-out to Miss Mataya: Thanks for sending Jordan and his family my way!) Have a look at what we got up to:
Jordan's grad session was delightfully rural and masculine. He's into tractors... antique vehicles... quads... he even has his pilot's license. I mean this is a real guy's guy we're talking about here.
I could tell there is a lot of love...
Curt and Breena invited me as their Destination Wedding Photographer in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. As soon as my assistant and I reached the airport, and met up with Breena and Curt’s family and friends, we knew immediately that this would be a fun week!
On the plane, the wedding group was making noise, singing, cracking jokes, as the excitement grew. Upon arriving to the Puerto Vallarta airport, our bus driver greeted us with warm hellos and a cooler of cold beers.
The Denysiuks' destination wedding happened near the beginning of the week-long event. The girls meticulously...
In December, I held a model call for winter stock imagery models. The intention was to create marketable stock imagery for external licensing usage.
More than that, it was an excuse for me to capture portraits our beautiful northeastern Saskatchewan winter wonderland. The models and I froze and chattered our way through a crazily cold day, and worked together to create some beautiful images.
The photos shown here are only the selections that the models requested to have prints of, and just the tip of the iceberg...
