These two little dolls braved the cold wind with their mittens, teddies, and runny noses.
Chantelle and Jon brought their kids out for a family session. These two little dolls braved the cold wind with their mittens, teddies, and runny noses. Even though it was chilly, the sun was golden, and the leaves were crunchy. My favourite time of year. Thank you
Chantelle for the wonderful choice of clothing for your family. What a perfect autumn session!
The Ingram family booked right after their friends, The Bergens. This laidback family kept me laughing with the antics of three very different little girls. Halle wanted picture after picture of herself, and kept the poses going. Heidi was more excited to show me her highland dance moves. And Isobel wanted the whole thing to be over and done with so she could go back to her blankie. Oh, what a lucky dad. Not one, not two, but three beautiful little girls. Thank you to the Ingram family.
Tania and Chris came to me for family photos, without much description of what they actually wanted. I guess they really didn’t know. The last time they got professional photos done was when Nathan (the oldest) was 6 months old, in Superstore or Walmart or some other box photography. So when Tania called me over, they “just wanted family pictures”. Well that sure opens up doors!
Her original request called for backyard pictures, but when I got to the house, we were in a position of shade (which I’m not a huge fan of). So, instead, Chris and Tania packed up the boys and we walked to the park down the road so we could soak up what was left of the setting sun. Ahhhh….
These boys are the cutest! “Frogs, snails and puppy dog tails” really does ring true for these two. Nathan, is unbelievably full of energy! He tried (as hard as his little heart could try) to get me to join him in a game of tag, then play with his Legos, then play hide and seek, then play
tag again, then come to his Pirate Themed birthday party, then swing him around in the air and throw him on the couch. Sure it’s fun, but it’s hard to keeping up with a five year old! (PS: I applaud all parents out there. Great job!) The youngest one, Lyndon, spent most of the shoot pushing his truck around, and by the end of it was covered head to toe in dirt and chalk. These two are just the way little boys are meant to be.

What a beautiful family you have Christie! And your kids are adorable. Hope you’re doing well my friend. Have to catch up soon!
